"Our group of 6 adults stayed at this beautiful property May 2024. If you're comfortable being in a Tuscany location that isn't walkable to restaurants or other services, stay here! You will need a car to visit some of the amazing towns in the vicinity. The host and her daughter provided excellent communication before, during and after our stay. "We loved our stay! There were 5 adults and plenty of room for all of us. The house looks similar if not better than the photos. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Francesca made everything very easy for us - including rides to and from the airport, and having a rental car ready to go for us at the house. The highlight for us was the cooking class that came to us. (Also arranged by Francesca) Delicious food and an amazing experience!"

"It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! Everything we could need to cook at the Villa was provided, we hired a chef on night and he had everything he needed as well! "This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . The garden is stunningly beautiful and lavender bushes a hive of activity for bees and gorgeous butterflies that did not desturb us in any way even when standing in their midst observing them closely. "Villa Gagnoni is a well restored authentic Tuscan farmhouse in a superb, tranquil "away from it all" natural setting. It is an excellent, well located base for exploring central Tuscany with many of the top attractions anywhere from a short drive to an easy day trip away. The nearby village of Lucignano is charming. "Nous avons loué une maison avec piscine mais nous n'avons pu utiliser la piscine que deux jours, dimanche et lundi (impraticable mardi et mercredi, eau trouble et très chlorée jeudi et vendredi). A cause d'un orage le lundi soir 15 aout et parce que la piscine n'a pas de couverture, la terre du jardin a glissé dans la piscine et l'a rendue impraticable (verte et "tournée"). "This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. Kitchen and dining room are downstairs. We cooked several simple meals after going into town to grab groceries. Nearby town is nice. Not a lot of restaurant...

"The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. Overall however, it was a lovely stay! Grazie."
