Randolph Vacation Packages

Property doesn't match pictures. Very little hot water for showers. Smelled. Window in room was cracked. No elevator. Room was somewhat clean but worst hotel i have ever stayed in

Lots of people smoking weed around the property. Rooms were decorated with very cheap furniture.

Nice and quiet location, very quaint. It’s inside Sweet Briar’s college grounds, which on a busy day requires registration at the entry security gate, no issues there, just a quick checkpoint for college traffic safekeeping we learned. The Inn itself is well maintained for an older building. However age is not an issue, all standard hotel amenities are up to date. While this area is very convenient for the college, our destination was the town of Lynchburg, which worked well for our stay. All in all a well maintained establishment.

The stay was nice overall but they don't tell you this property is connected to a senior living community on the lower level and while that is not an issue while staying; it certainly becomes one when the restaurant at this hotel becomes full on the weekend. You have no choice but to park in the back and go through the senior community's common area to the elevator to get to the upper level to get to your room. It also gets very loud on the weekends when the restaurant is open. The guests of the restaurant tend to wander down the halls when drunk or just being overly curious and staff at the front desk do not stop them or ward them off. Someone continuously knocked on my door over the course of several hours because he was drunk and forgot where he was. I had to work the next morning and 5am comes early. The cleaning staff was amazing and so helpful! Would definitely stay just because of them alone. Was told breakfast was from 6am until 10am every morning but was highly disappointed when it wasn't there at 6am or even 7am on most mornings. Half the time no one was at the front desk. The male that checked me in was rude and barely spoke to me when I got there. The other 3 ladies I met said Hello but nothing else. They don't allow doordash to bring you your food and they don't have phones in the rooms either. They don't call to tell you your food has arrived so if you don't get a notification you won't know. You have to go to the front entrance on a table to get it.
