"The photos are very dated and misleading. This property is being used as long term rentals and has residents. There are pets, smells of cooking, and residents who find it funny to put peanut butter on door handles. I'd urge management to view cameras, but I'd doubt they're operational. Our bathroom door was so rotten and water logged it wouldn't shut. The bath itself was moldy with little hot water or pressure, the shampoos that weren't attached to the walls but sitting in the corners smelled like gasoline. The rug throught our room was so tired, stained and fraying I wore my shoes the entire time. The real test was a piece of bread that was in the stairway, it sat there for 3 days during our stay without housekeeping picking it up. I really can't make these things up. Hats off to the pest company though, no animals or bugs dragged the bread away. My advice, unless you absolutely have to stay here, don't."

"I booked this stay last minute and did not know what to expect. Upon arrival there was no parking available for my box van even when they said they would block off the one and only space that could've accomodated the truck, and they gave my wife crap about our dog. The description on Hotels.com said dog friendly. Also, we do not need to have our room cleaned everyday, so when we left for the day to do what we were in town to do, we left the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. Everyday the tag was taken off and the room was cleaned. I believe they wanted to make sure our dog wasn't making a mess, but still, there was no semblance of privacy. AND... They had a huge issue with use checking in after 6PM! We didn't arrive until 8, what kind of hotel isn't in the service industry?"

"Smoke alarm dead in room A-221 CONS: Smoke alarm was dead The info on the card in the room for wifi codes was inaccurate had to go to front desk to get actual log in info. Shower faucet was opposite of normal valves Had to take blankets from other bed to be warm enough- could not get heater to work Spa filthy, I took pics (They did fix this after a day) Ok Breakfast Fire department across street, lots of sirens and horns when they depart station PROS: Nice big trees in middle Big TV in room, although I did not useAll units had balconies Great location It was least expensive option"

"This property is a hidden gem! We needed a short getaway from our regular routine and The Ranch was the perfect place for that. We stayed in a beautiful renovated room with a balcony overlooking the river - we saw ducks, birds, and even a large fish swimming upstream. The whole property is surrounded by gorgeous hills that make you feel you are far away from the “hustle and bustle”….and the beach is a short 7 minute walk away. We had friends join us for a round of golf and we had a blast! The other golfers were laid back and the course was ideal for a fun afternoon of golf. Beautiful views along the way didn’t hurt either. Dinner on the outdoor patio afterwards was delicious too. Highly recommend The Ranch - I will be back with my husband or a group of girlfriends soon!"

"In a state of an emergency, Janet was so gracious for accepting my family and I during a time of crisis. We were mentally and emotionally wrecked due to the Garden Grove evacuation incident. Janet was so kind to accept us and our pets when no one else would. Not only was she kind and understanding of our situation. Her home was a safe haven and beautifully well kept. It had everything we needed from the kitchen appliances, local restaurants and grocery stores near by. The amount of space for those of us who work from home was perfect. Including the amount of space we needed for 4 vehicles. I can’t thank you enough for your support during a time of need."
