Seafood restaurants line the bustling Paseo de los Turistas, where locals gather to watch spectacular Pacific sunsets. Take a boat tour to spot dolphins in the Gulf of Nicoya or visit nearby Tortuga Island for pristine beaches and excellent snorkelling opportunities.
Tout était parfait! Les jardins sont superbes, un personnel attentionné et une place très calme. La nourriture est excellente à tous les services. Merci

This place was one of our favorites in Costa Rica. The views are breathtaking. The outdoor balcony with unique hammock, swing, and jacuzzi tub was our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and their incredible breakfast! They provided cozy housecoats as well that keep you warm on the chilly mornings. Javier was amazing. So personable, thoughtful and kind. I loved all the small details put into the cabins and the cheery burst of color in the decor. The property is gorgeous and a great...

Our stay here was amazing! All the staff are wonderful and very helpful! The small size of the hotel makes it intimate and peaceful and we were fortunate to see lots of howler monkeys and various birds! The pool is great, all the rooms have a great view of playa organos beach! The beach would be a bit of a walk but if you have a car it's very quick and so worth it - we were the only people on the entire 2 miles of beach. Highly recommend the night kayak I'm bioluminescent bay!

Very clean and cozy stay . Very close to all the restaurants and market in the downtown. 5-10 walk to most of the places . Very quite and free parking space front of the room .

The staff was so lovely and warm, and really made us feel at home. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and my kids had a wonderful time visiting the farm animals. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely property. The room was exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed and nice comfy pillows. Great patio to sit on. Close to birding spots and can bird on the property. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If we're ever back in Monteverde would definitely stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Really enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel looked modern and newly renovated. It was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were disappointed in the look of the surrounding town of Puntarenas.

Is it better to stay in a Puntarenas motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
