"When I arrived, there was no one to check me in. I had to call someone. The manager arrived 30 minutes later. The room itself was OK, comfortable enough and clean, and my bed was made every day. The location is good. Easy walking distance to anywhere. The hot water was not automatic and I had to request it be turned on. The shower was average, at best. Breakfast was good; continental style. Security was fine. I would possibly stay there again, but it's good to have low expectations."

"The location was perfect for exploring Puerto Ayora and the surrounding area. The hostel common areas were delightful and the rooms were nice and cleaned daily. Free laundry service and delicious free breakfast sealed the deal. A perfect hostel! "

Zeida was so sweet - she's the one that makes (a really nice) breakfast in the morning. Always a smile, always pleasant, and works with you when you speak to her in broken Spanish, without judgment. "This hotel is located right next to “restaurant row” which is a street with many dining options and geared mostly toward the tourists. The hotel A/C and Wi-Fi worked well, and I had a comfortable night here. There is a motion sensor hall light that shines into the room through the top windows and some noise as they walk by. "Immediately upon arriving, we were told there was no reservation under our name. After showing our printed reservation paid in full, the front desk staff appeared confused and had another employee come over. After 5-10 minutes of confusion, the hotel claimed they had overbooked themselves (despite the hotel appearing empty, with all of the rooms we could see having the door open).
