The hotel is in good location, however the room could do with a refresh ie new carpets and a quilt that fits over the whole bed instead of two separate quilts , the shower although look lovely very slippery floors and smelt bit funky ,the tea /coffee making facilities in the room a bit humble only enough for one cup or coffee and only one creamer ,probably would not class this as 4 star more a 3 star only ,also walking from the bedroom to the bathroom could slice your toe off as it has a sharp metal square edge

I recently stayed at the Metropolitan with my son for his birthday. I'd requested two single beds but was given a large room with three beds! It was very spacious and room service kept it spotless.
The hotel is well located and is right next door to the Banksy museum which is well worth a visit.
The train station is 5 minutes away and there is lots of good coffee shops and restaurants near by.
