"When looking for a lake cabin getaway, one thing that was very important to us was that our cabin was dog friendly and that there were dog-friendly activities nearby. This cabin is located very closely to battle lake which has a dog-friendly brewery and dog friendly cidery to enjoy. This area truly feels like a Minnesota outdoors experience, especially if you're just looking for some low-key lake hangs and breathing in the fresh air. We have been socializing our 6-month-old dog who's gone through puppy training classes and this cabin offered us space to see how he would do outside of his normal comfort zones and experience swimming in the lake for the first time as well as taking him to the dog friendly brewery to socialize. Our vacation felt very private and very comforting for our first vacation with our new doggie. The owner let us know ahead of time that there's a pretty fast drop off and no beach, so we brought a life jacket for our puppy and he did so great hanging out with us on the lake while we paddle boarded. Having access to kayaks and paddle boards was such a fun perk for this vacation and honestly one of the reasons we chose this property. The property itself was very clean and spacious and felt just right for us especially since we like to cook our own meals on vacation and spend less money eating out this lake cabin getaway provided everything we needed. Highly recommend!"

"Close to everything. The house was very cozy and clean. Big windows looking out to the large deck and lake. The kitchen had everything, but the ice maker did not work so you might want to get some ice before you arrive. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. Thank you so much"

"The peaceful beauty of this Ottertail area property lends itself to being a great place to renew and restore. All amenities were amply provided. Trisha and Chris went out of their way to make sure if I had any questions they would be happy to answer them for me.They also provided a needed extension cord for me. And were on-site which I felt most secure about as a single female occupant. Security and privacy was assured. Beautiful property and excellent hosts!"
