« The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and in good condition. »

« Clean room, no chair in the room, provided basic soap and shampoo, and very coarse facial tissue. No carpeting, plain, but clean, artificial wood plank flooring. Breakfast was to go until 10 am, however at 9 am, there was no cold (dry cereal in the dispenser, two small soft rolls. OK for us, but if we had children, it would have been difficult. I'd rank below a Super 8, but better than Motel 6. »

« I can't say enough about my stay here. I was here for a funeral and the staff was amazing, especially Shirley who was helping with the breakfast. She was so sweet and wonderful to me and my family. The whole staff are very nice and kind. I will definitely stay here again if and when I return to Minnesota. »

« All good overall! One negative which is not fault of facility was access due to road torn up, coming over rubber/plastic mats and curb caused bottom of vehicle to contact ramps. Only other minor thing is noise at times from other rooms appear to echo and travel through hot water baseboard heaters. Not terrible but odd when it occurs. »

« The breakfast at Americinn in Detroit Lakes is excellent! It includes four hot entrees, in addition to fresh waffles, fruit, breads, and yogurts. Even the 24 hr coffee table is well stocked with green, herbal and black teas and 3 types of coffee. The staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming too. We required emergency accommodations and this hotel helped us out tremendously with its availability and cost effectiveness. »
