Pretty Bayou Vacation Packages

Streaky mirrors, poorly done repairs in the bathroom, multiple "amenities" were defective or completely unusable such as the hair drier.

The location is excellent, the beach is great. There's a nice restaurant nearby. The room is your typical motel room with a kitchenette. No balcony or private window.

The facility as a whole is pretty nice. 3 pools, a lazy river(looked dirty) and a hot tub. Lots of different things to do, tiki bar, snack place, a few nightly events. My room looked nothing like the pictures. Was not told the pet fee of $20 per night would also be taxed, room we had was very outdated, floors were nasty, toilet didn't flush all the way unless you stood there and held the handle down. Fridge was rusty and the freezer door would get stuck, things in fridge froze. The bed and pillows were horrible. My son, however, also stayed at this same place. His room was very nice. Apparently, his had already been updated. I should have gotten a better deal, due to the rooms condition. We paid a good penny for the room to have been in the shape it was. There was a couch, but it was shoved beside one of the beds. There would have been no way to utilize it, had we tried. I might consider staying here again, but I don't know for sure.

Pros: location was great. Restaurants and ice cream was very convenient. The pool was perfect. Everything was clean. Cons: check in was not good. Our room was not ready for 2 hours past check in time. And it was not just ours. There was multiple families waiting because their room was not ready.
