« DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This was the worst stay ever!!!!!!! We walked in to an unclean room it was disgusting! Bed had been slept in dirty towels, everywhere bag of trash in the living room and the worst part was there was absolutely no communication with the hos, therefore we had to clean room ourselves! Cut our losses and headed back home….never again. »

« The room was very clean and attractive overall. However the mattress seemed old and was not comfortable to sleep on. Air conditioning worked well, but no Kleenex or hair conditioner provided. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast foods and condiments, and had all the utensils needed for food preparation. « Location, location, location. You really can’t get much better than this. You are just a few minutes from BBNP in one direction and Terlingua in the other, with a general store within easy walking distance (a bit pricey but good for stuff you forgot, and also sells charcoal if you plan on grilling). It’s right off the road, but being on the southern tip of Terlingua there is hardly any traffic after dark, so you still get that remote big sky experience. When I messaged the host about grill...

"Bien situé, à 10 minutes de l'entrée de Big Bend NP (Maverick junction), chambre un peu petite mais agreable , bien équipée, calme et propre, décoration superbe, équipements et prises nombreuses. Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité, accueil sympa. Pas de petit déjeuner. Peut-être un peu cher mais c'est le prix à payer pour etre juste a côté du parc. Je recommande cet hôtel, nous y retournerons si nous sommes de passage pour compléter notre visite de Big Bend"
