"I had great experience staying at Hotel Spinne. I was traveling solo, and the room for one person was perfect for me. The room was clean and spacious with a big patio and the view of Mount Eiger! The bathroom was a bit small but I had no problem with it. I also spent time at their spa after a long day of hiking, very relaxing! The location was also very convenient - in a walking distance from the train station, restaurants, and shops. "

I suggest requesting a room with a view of these mountains as opposed to the other side that looks towards Mount First. That side isn't bad, but the view towards Eiger and Monch is fantastic. The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). The rooms are clean and modern. A resort shuttle runs when buses are not running (at an additional cost). This all made for a relaxing stay. "

Great place to stay in great tiwn
"Lovely boutique room, so close to the centre of the old town, and easy walk from the station (10 minutes and this with luggage on wheels). Breakfast 8-10, well presented, nice breakfast in charming room. Our host, Anna, was terrific- easy check in, had already advised on best way for us to get from Domodossola to Milan/Malpensa airport when departing so we had out bus tickets booked and so easy transfer to the airport (bus from station, direct), and she provided all assistance requested. As we needed to leave early, she provided early breakfast, and then offered to drive us to the station- we didn’t need this but lovely offer. Domodossola a remarkable little town, Saturday markets take over the town, and bars, restaurants buzzing. We had great meals and wines, and the stay at NicoMat made it all so accessible with great host. And the train from Locarno to Domodossola a must!"
