We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again.

Excellent stay at hotel De Londres in Brig, with great location that is in the center of the city and close to the train station. Breakfast is heavenly and healthy. Staffs are very helpful. Note that sometimes pre-stay queries/questions were not answered. I was considering whether to change my booking from 2 linked-rooms to another 2 linked rooms that was cheaper and my inquiry regarding disable-friendliness of the other (cheaper) room was not answered. However, we're not disappointed by my decision to stay with the more expensive room since it's close to the lobby and breakfast room. Note that the lobby and breakfast room are on 2nd floor since there's a restaurant/pub in the same building on the first floor. Noise from the pub below during our Friday-Saturday stay was manageable although my mom's quite sensitive (she couldn't use ear plugs). The first 2 linked-rooms mentioned above only available through Hotels.com while the other (cheaper) 2 linked-rooms is available through directly booking with the hotel itself. I guess it's special :-). We love hotel De Londres. Note that stores are closed on Sundays in Brig, including supermarkets but we found a few economical options for food (Royal Kebab, we love you!). Zenhausers supermarket in the train station is open on Sunday.

Our stay at Hotel de Londres was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The hotel’s location is simply perfect, right in the heart of Brig, within easy walking distance of the charming old town, shops, and the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was fantastic and truly authentic, with high-quality local products that made each morning feel special and very Swiss. It was the perfect way to start the day. What really made our stay stand out was the warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff was considerate - we arrived early and hoped to store our bags before check in. Staff got us into our room immediately. Breakfast and dining room was excellent. By far the best hotel in Brig. I have grown up in Brig and now we are visiting every year for Christmas my relatives. Traveling from Singapore and staying in Londres always feels like to come home. I just suggest to pay a bit more for a larger room. From the modern room, great services provided by the lady staff to the amazing breakfast, we can only recommend this place. Living in Asia and used to good service, it is not always easy to please us. But this place is definitely doing it.

I saw some reviews complaining about the bar next to the hotel. That’s the only complaint I have. It was very loud. Someone even was drunk, yelled loudly and banged on the front door of the hotel. But I guess it was out of the hotel’s control.

Easily one of my favorite hotels that i’ve ever stayed at. I’ve been to many hotels around the world and there’s something special about this place. It’s in the heart of the charming small town. The hotel is the perfect balance of personal and private. The kitchen is cozy yet updated and the views on the patio is the best view in town. The service was immaculate, I felt well taken care of the whole time. It was peaceful because the hotel is not crowded. I would go out of my way just to stay at this hotel again. It’s only a straight 4 minute walk to the train/bus station. The breakfast spread was also great. I’m not usually one for bread and jam but their bread and jam had me eating non stop! I’m so excited to come back.

The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful surroundings and scenery, and it’s fairly close to Brig train station. The staff was very friendly and professional, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even arranging an early check-in.
