"The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly. There was a great games room with a coffee machine as well as a popcorn machine! Never seen that before. The kind staff made yummy popcorn and distributed bags to all guests! Nice!!"

"Staying at this property was so much fun. So many interesting things to look at, the staff were great (the hostage was a clever touch) the food was yummy. This property is full of history. I stayed in the jury room, the room was nicely decorated and the 2 beds (one mattress a bit firmer that the other) were different but both very comfortable. I had the best sleep in years. The room had a great view of the harbour, the mill and the concrete ships, The transom over the door in the room let in some light from the hallway at night but its all part of the experience. The room had no bathtub just a shower but as someone who has traveled extensively for work i can say without reservation that I had the best shower ever, I did not want to come out of the shower. I will definitely go back."

"Gorgeous, wide ocean view. Beautiful deck, comfortable chairs. Really lovely decorating with a mix of antiques along with modern. Beds confortable Hosts gracious, and helpful.Would love to visit again."

"Absolutely fantastic stay! The property exceeded our expectations — it was even better than the photos. Everything was spotless, modern, extremely comfortable, and very well equipped. The kitchen in particular had absolutely everything we could possibly need.We especially loved the spacious balcony with its comfortable seating and brand-new BBQ. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful — we could sit outside, enjoy the fresh West Coast air, watch the ferries come and go, and take in the gorgeous sunsetsThe location was perfect for us, and we truly felt at home. We visit Powell River every year to see family, and we’ve definitely found our new favourite place to stay. We’ll absolutely be back!"
Cedar Suite at Arbutus Cove Retreat, beachfront, hot tub

"We are a family of 5 with 3 adult[ish] children. The Cedar Suite was a really comfortable layout for a full week at Arbutus Cove Retreat. The kitchen was nicely set-up and the big kitchen table was perfect for playing games. The sauna and hot tub were especially soothing and the location of Arbutus was perfect for exploring local trails & beaches. Jennifer was even kind enough to loan us their bear spray when I forgot mine at home. Would stay there again in a heartbeat."
