"The bedding couldn’ve been better, it felt like there was sand on them each time we layed on them even though we never brought sand onto the bed. Overall it was a good enough hotel for the few days we were there but the bedding was the only bad part."

"I was extremely disappointed with the condition of this room and the lack of support during my stay. The room was clearly not properly maintained or cleaned before check-in. The refrigerator was dirty, the windowsills were covered in dirt, and there was rust on the door hinges, metal shelves, and even inside the bathtub. The blinds were broken, and two of the bunk beds were missing screws, which felt unsafe. There were also multiple maintenance issues throughout the room, including peeling paint, paint patches ripped from the walls, black marks around the door handle, and an air conditioner filter that clearly needed cleaning. To make matters worse, the smoke detector needed a new battery and was not properly maintained. One of the biggest frustrations was that the office is closed on weekends, so there was no way to get assistance or report issues during most of the stay. Overall, the room felt neglected, poorly maintained, and far below acceptable standards. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are made."

"Beautiful location, but the experience did not match the price point or expectations. Our room was directly next to weddings every night of our stay, with events taking place literally outside our window, and we were never warned. The weddings also precluded us from using the rooftop, and resulted in the restaurant and bar being closed intermittently for many meals over the 4 days. The room setup also does not work for a group — only one real bed, extremely uncomfortable pull-outs, poor pillows, and a bathroom door that didn’t fully close or lock. We ultimately had to book a second room ourselves after asking staff to notify us if one became available. Disappointing overall, especially given the cost."

"First of all I would like to start off on a positive note. Thomas was very good at getting back to me. I really appreciated that. However, I was so very disappointed with a few things. There was no 4th bedroom which must have been on the first floor. No bedroom with 2 beds. We are elderly and difficult to manage stairs so we were planning on taking the downstairs bedroom. There was a movie room which was added on adjacent to the back area. It had a tv and a loveseat and a couple of places to lie on the top to view a movie...but not a bedroom. The furniture truly needs to be updated. The bunk beds in bad shape. The 4 bikes had rusty chains and 2 of them were completely off. The golf cart was fun. The pool area had outdated furniture. They advertise a heated pool but it was NOT. The garbage on the side of the house was overflowing, and scattered on the ground leaving no place to put our trash. We picked it up and put it out for whomever was in charge of that. We loved the funky designs on the interior walls and decor. We did contact Thomas about some of these issues. He said he would address them with the proper people which didn't help us much but hopefully will be better for the following guests."

"Unbelievable house that had everything. Beach towels, beach towels, beach towels - no need to bring beach towels. Right on the Gulf, Chairs Umbrellas provided. Great trip!"

"It was clean and worked great for us. It was close to the pool for easy access. Totally recommend it!"

"Blue Marlin was beautiful and looked exactly as pictured. The two balconies were amazing. Would definitely recommend for anyone to come stay. perfect for 4 people, 6 would not be ideal. Unfortunately, we had to have maintenance come fix the washing machine the first day, and also have maintenance come out and fix the internet. Would like the host to provide much better instructions on working tv, internet, reserving chairs (has to be done by certain time), where garbage was and the fact there was no recycle. "

"The place was very cozy and spacious. Lots of cupboards and close to the beach. The host responded quickly and was very accommodating."
