"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Church House was perfect for me and my three teen grandsons to explore Sao Miguel. There was plenty of room to spread out, inside and outside. The kitchen was well equipped, but be sure to buy ground coffee. There is no coffee grinder. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and very clean. The beds are comfortable. "Manger of the hotel were helpful when was told we were denial we were SHOCKED but one day we stayed diff. hotel but went back next day. We were disappoints that we tried to canceled house rental they refused cost me 500$ for not using this house . we did tried to cancelled almost a week.Others were helpful and respected each other.
