"We stayed at Villa Mariposa for two weeks in August 2023. The Villa is uniquely located in the hills with spectacular views over the countryside and the sea. The property was very clean throughout, with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. "Room advertised as seaview. Couldn’t see the sea due to a large tree blocking the view. Showers fluctuated between between freezing and Luke warm, they couldn’t maintain temperature. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Food in the evening was very nice. Good location close to the restaurants in the port and short walk from the beach. Hotel helped with hire of cars to help us explore more of the island. "

"The place was quit big and nice, but it was a drive from the beach and very hot! Since there was no aircondition (that we knew) and not even a fan in the bedra om, it became very difficult to sleeping. Overall an OK place to stay."

"DO NOT BOOK! I booked this property months in advance and less than 24 hours before I was due to arrive, they moved me to a neighbouring hotel. The hotel they moved me to had lesser facilities, was a French and Italian speaking hotel and was very dated. I visited Janna e Sole to ask what had happened and if they could move me back to where I originally booked, they were rude and dismissive. I asked if I could have at least have a refund for the price difference as the hotel they had moved me to...

"We loved this hotel! From the moment you walk into the lobby you are impressed with the views. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. Beach loungers with umbrellas! Super big and cozy beach towels.
