It is a twin home which is for sale... located in a gated community which is very peaceful and safe. Need a car to travel to South Padre which is only about a 15 minute drive where you will find all of the restaurants, shopping and activities. Very limited shopping or restaurants in the immediate Laguna Vista community. If you are a golfer, this is a great place to stay. Pools looked nice, but it was to cold during our stay to utilize them. Owners were quick to respond to our questions. ##### Linda M. There were many amenities in the golf community, such as a nearby pool, and Divot's restaurant has delicious food.. We enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of space for 5 people when we were all there. We enjoyed the screened in porch. The golf course was lovely and well managed. We were only 20 minutes from South Padre Island, and we visited the restaurants, beaches, sea turtle rescue, bird sanctuary, and had a boat tour. The area is quite dog friendly. We could get groceries and access shops and restaurants in Laguna Madre without going over to the island, as well. The location was fantastic within walking distance of the community pool, loved that as well. The only thing that bothered me and my family was that it was that they scheduled a viewing of the place during our stay and thought that was very unprofessional for someone that does this for a living. Also it did say that there was a private hot tub but the hot tub was not working so that would have been nice to know during booking! I let the host know of this that it did say on his header and he apologized.
