« The Anchorage is a great place to stay. It's a few steps away from the quayside and is well served by restaurants and pubs. Our room, Rm4, was extremely clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, soft towels and quality bed linen. « We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. « Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel-pub situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Nous avions une grande et belle chambre très propre avec literie confortable. Le pub ferme assez tôt même en week-end (23h) donc nous n'avons absolument pas été dérangés pour dormir. Très bon petit déjeuner à l'anglaise avec plusieurs choix possibles. Personnel très sympathique. »

My room was clean and comfortable and the owners made sure I got in OK and allowed me to leave my bag in the building for a couple of hours after I vacated the room.
