Superb location good range at breakfast including alternative milks. Staff were super helpful with any queries. But as mentioned by others decor is outdated, but doesn’t take away from the experience. Kids especially loved the pool which is a good size and lifeguards fantastic at keeping everything fun, safe and controlled. Would definitely revisit!

The hotel is well situated with a beautiful sea view. The staff were excellent & the rooms were clean. The only downside was that our room did not have air conditioning & we stayed on a very hot weekend. Although a fan was provided it made for a very uncomfortable night.

The location & view from the balcony with a sea view is great but the room & hotel generally is very dated. Bearing in mind the cost we paid for 1 night, not good value. We were very underwhelmed. Staff were friendly enough though.

the room was clean, laid out nice and a good size, we did spend a lot of time on the balcony watching the windsurfers surfers swimmers and all the other activities, rugby match on the beach one evening. the breakfast was very good, a excellent selection of hot and cold options plus the healthy option as well, one winge the toaster was under powered had to put the slices through twice to get any colour on it. all the staff we had dealings with were very helpful, even the maintenance man who gave us directions when we were a bit lost. all in all a enjoyable short stay. PS we are both oaps.

Location was amazing. Staff friendly and polite. Food wonderful. What lets it down is, the moment you walk upstairs towards accommodation it all seems rather tired. Walking into the room felt like we had gone back 30 years. Room was very dated. Hadn’t seen a shower curtain in a hotel bathroom for decades!!

We stayed in a sea view room and, unfortunately, the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest issue was that it felt very tired and in need of refurbishment. The room and hotel overall felt quite run down, especially considering the price. Sleep wasn’t great either. The walls and corridors seem to carry a lot of noise, so you hear doors constantly closing throughout the hotel. The “double” bed was simply two single mattresses pushed together, which wasn’t particularly comfortable. For the price of the sea view room, you could easily find a much better-value Airbnb and stay for two or even three nights instead. The only real positive was the location. Being right on Sandbanks Beach is fantastic, and that’s the hotel’s biggest selling point. Unfortunately, everything else fell short of what we’d expected.
