The staff weee very sweet but it was just old and rundown. The internet was terrible so it was a long night sitting in a room with no tv and bad internet

Great staff and lovely character

Loved the way an obviously old building has been well maintained and added to with an excellent tastefull modern glass annex.

The location was excellent for any central Cardiff activities, and it was super easy to walk to sights. The proximity to the water taxi for the harbour as well as trains and buses opened up even more of the city. The flat was quiet and comfortable, with an interesting view of the stadium and Taff. There was little lacking to make this a very pleasant stay.

Although called Future Inn, it did feel almost 80’s like in its decor and facilities. The rooms are dated, and furnished like I remember my grans house to be. The iron/hot plate provided was inadequate and the in room hot drinks selection/presentation resembled that in a hostel I once stayed at in Albania. I found the bar staff quite rude (one guy in particular) who tried to serve me a jug of milk from the countertop for my small child - how long it had been there is anyone’s guess. Probably wouldn’t stay again.
