We arrived early intending to have lunch whilst waiting for our keys but to our delight the room was ready early. We had a light lunch in the restaurant with our friends which was of a good standard. We had requested a wheelchair accessible room as my wife is disabled and we were very impressed with the large size and quality of the room and the facilities within, especially the bathroom. We can honestly say it is the best disabled friendly hotel room we have ever stayed in. The only slight drawback was that it could only be accessed by wheelchair via a dimly lit external path as there is no lift from the reception area to the lower floors but we were happy to put up with this considering the lovely nature of the room, which had an estuary facing patio area. We understand that consideration is being given to converting a room on the ground floor close to the bar. All members of staff that we interacted in were extremely helpful and courteous and I made good use of the pool, sauna and steam room on both days. All in all, we had a most enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting the area."
