There was a mistake with booking, and apparently their system said I booked two double beds instead of a king, but the front desk did a great job correcting this.
The room was pretty nice, but the toilet could have been cleaner and desperately needed a new seat. One foot on the lid was completely missing and the others badly worn, so it sits crooked. Needs new anchors, too. Getting in the room was like breaking and entering because the door latch needs to be adjusted. Very difficult to open in time when it unlocks and also difficult to shut. Dangerous if you leave your room because it doesn't latch on its own.
Otherwise, the stay was comfortable (nice hot shower) and breakfast was great. Loved the crispy bacon!

The Penn Stater is always a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was very responsive. We requested a cot, and it was delivered to our room right away, which we really appreciated.
My only disappointment was at checkout. We asked for just a 30-minute extension, but were told they were expecting a large conference group and could not accommodate the request. I completely understand that they needed to prepare for incoming guests, but considering we were only asking for an additional 30 minutes, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a little more flexibility.

"Kids had so much fun, enough space for them to run, and play without disturbing anyone. Kitchen area was big enough for everyone. They have enough space for a big reservation, will definitely come back."
