Great Winterized four season family cottage with enclosed sunroom that has large wood burning fireplace (fire wood not provided)for dining or relaxing.
Three bedrooms (4 beds) within the cottage.

Cedar Cove has a bright open concept living, dining and kitchen layout with vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light coming through all the windows from its south/west facing exposure. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, etc. Wifi, Bell Satellite TV; Netflix, propane fireplace and window a/c unit. Three nice sized bedrooms with baseboard heating, ceiling fans and large closets. Modern 3-piece bathroom with lots of storage; one screened breezeway on lakeside .Situated on a level lot with trees along property lines allowing privacy from neighbours. (Note: Although property is private, it is not secluded - there are neighbours on all sides). Located on Blythe Shore Rd., on Sturgeon Lake, on the Trent/Severn Waterway System and 5 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls and 10 minutes from Bobcaygeon, the Jewels of the Kawarthas. Explore all the towns have to offer; historical attractions, shopping, dining, the falls, lift locks and swing bridge.

You can also enjoy at the cottage or nearby: Large dock can accommodate boat up to 24ft - Fire pit - Large front yard for horseshoes, badminton and throwing or kicking a ball - Paddleboat with lifejackets - Aluminium boat with paddles; Propane BBQ (we supply the propane) - Boating, fishing and water sports - Golf, fine dining, shopping and antiqueing; large public beaches/playgrounds in Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon; Swimming areas a few minutes walk from cottage or a short paddle boat ride away - Nice public parkette with beach just a couple of minutes drive from cottage (Note: water directly in front of cottage is not suitable for swimming as it is soft bottom);municipal garbage pick-up and snow ploughed on road in winter

We had a great stay here! The pictures were very accurate and the view was super beautiful. We took the pedal boat and the kayaks out! Very fun! Harry and Pat were great hosts and responded to my messages almost instantly. They really made sure we had a comfortable stay and our baby was very happy at their place. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked that there were puzzles and board games too. Would definitely go back for another relaxing vacation.

Midweek Getaway

We had a nice relaxing stay at this property. The location was perfect for us to visit the surrounding towns and lakes. The waterfront was very peaceful. Although we had brought puzzles with us, there was no need to unpack them as the host had plenty of books, puzzles, games and water equipment for us to use during our stay. We look forward to booking again next year.

GREAT SPOT

lovely cottage and quiet retreat for three days…. works well for two couples or perhaps a family of six….. the cottage is not on the lake … it’s actually in small inlet off the the lake but very pretty non the less… it is well stock with equipment in the kitchen but we never new about not providing sheers and towels and we got the final notice from the owners… a small disappointment… it’s a lovely spot. dw

Beautiful cottage + amazing owners

Owners extremely friendly and helpful. Had questions before booking and after, owners replied back almost immediately. When arriving they messaged to check in I got in okay and to let them know if I had any other questions. It’s October so it’s cold the screen room was perfect for space of 9 people to be able to see the beautiful view, relax and stay warm. Each room had its own temperature for each guest to adjust to their liking. Lots of space, and accommodation for a great price in comparison to others bookings I saw. First time booking anything like this and all my friends were extremely impressed with the place, as was I. Would definitely book again, maybe even bring my dog up next time and would recommend others too!

Relaxing Fall Getaway

We all had a relaxing great time. The cottage was well-kept and equipped and has a great location protected in a small lagoon with great sunset views over the lake. With it so close to Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, it was perfect for us for last minute groceries, dining at some great casual restaurants and hiking the Victoria Rail Trail. We would definitely go back. Pat and Harry were very nice hosts and quite welcoming. Thanks again!

Fabulous Rental

Property was exactly as listed - absolutely lovely! Great spot for a get away with family. Communication with the owners was prompt and pleasant. Cottage had everything we needed. Short drive into town with lots of shops and activities. Access to paddle boats and kayaks was a really nice bonus! We will definitely book here again!

Lovely family vacation

We had a wonderful time, the hosts were easy to get a hold of and checked in throughout our stay. The sunroom was perfect for the entire family to hang out in and provided a space for us to hang out after the kids went to bed.

Beautiful cottage

We had a lovely relaxing week. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view from the dock and sunroom is beautiful. We didn’t use the boats but are available. It is a very quiet and pretty area and we had some lovely walks with our dogs. Very close to Fenelon Falls for shopping. We hope to come back sometime, perhaps when it is cooler! Pat and Harry were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

A nice relaxing cottage getaway

The location is perfect! Close enough to Fenelon Falls to enjoy the town, but far enough away to feel like we are in the country. The cottage was clean and had ample space. The bunkie was perfect for our teens to hang out in. We enjoyed lots of paddling with the kayaks provided, plus we brought our paddle boards. We also rented a WaveRunner for a day from the local marina. Communication with the owners was fast and efficient and we really appreciated that. Thanks again for a great week at your cottage!

Gorgeous view

Beautiful cottage, we didn’t need to use the a/c with the large windows and ceiling fans! Our favourite was the sunroom as we had a couple rain days! Very quiet area with lots of geese/ducks to watch even a crane would visit.. the fishing was great for live bait right off the dock. We just enjoyed sitting and watching the water and getting out of the city for a week! It was a very relaxing week!

Very nice place to stay

The listing is accurate and the property was very pleasant. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. The weather was cool and rainy so we didn't experience the local swimming but we really enjoyed the screened in proch. I would definitely recommend this property

Cozy cottage

This cottage was lovely and plenty of room for 3 sisters getaway in the fall. Nice to have a sunroom with wood burning stove, and gas FP inside too. All the amenities..nice area to walk too. Would go again!
