Visiting Blackwater Falls and accessing the national forest were both within reasonable driving times.The kitchen was pretty well stocked and the items were in good condition."

"Acorn Ridge was great for our long weekend with two families (four kids ages four to eight). The house was clean, comfortable and has some great amenities. We hiked at the nearby lake, explored Shenandoah caverns and had a great afternoon at a local brewery."
