"Stayed here the night before our Havasupai Falls Hiking trip. It is updated, very clean, and the staff is helpful. Small convenience store with snacks, drinks and souvenirs. Gas station across the street with additional grocery goods and toiletries. It feels safe. The only down side is the train horns, they provide ear plugs for this reason. It didn't make a difference for me. "

"I like this place for why we stayed. Hold no malice for the review of its condition. It's uniqueness overrides that. Just too bad they don't do something with the grounds between main building and the units. But again for the route 66 Fun Run event it's great. "

"Gem of a place. I was headed out to Siupai and this place was wonderful last night of comfort before heading into the canyon. Great hot water pressure, comfortable bed, and helpful/friendly service. "

"The bathtub was dirty. Like dust/debris or something. At least it wasn't gooey. That said, it's an old property but with a definite charm for those doing the Route 66 adventuring. To their credit, I accidentally bumped a lamp on the nightstand and broke the bulb and they were very understanding and considerate about it. "
