"The bathroom in the hotel room was not what we expected. Privacy offered was less than desired with a curtain separating the bathroom from the room. Even someone in the toilet was heard. The temperature in the room could not be controlled easily and the lobby and the restaurants were freezing. The Starbucks was out of muffins and all lemonades at 9:30 am. The person at the register seemed to be very unhappy with her job. We couldn’t charge the bill to our room. The Sawgrass restaurant sat us by the kitchen when we had a reservation. They mixed up our orders so we got each other’s steaks."

"This is definitely one of the nastiest places I've ever stayed in. Nats were in the sink and shower. Sand spurs in the carpet black mold around windows. Shower had used wash cloths left in the shower. I woke up at 2:00 a.m. sick from sewer gases in the room. I didn't even shower because it was so nasty."

"The room was very nice for the price of the room. Clean and ready at check in time. They were busy so early check in wasn't a possibility. The tv was okay but I wasn't here to watch tv so it didn't bother me, the AC worked and kept the room very cold . I was super annoyed that we were charged a $100 deposit at check in, this wasn't stated anywhere in the reservation that we would have to do this. What would keep me from staying her again is the NASTY area that is used for the dogs to go potty. The people that basically live there NEVER clean up after their dogs and the small patch of grass has got poop every step you or your dog could take. The smell within 20 ft of this area is overwhelming to say the least. Unfortunately, this leaves it to staff to keep area clean and they also don't clean the area. Overall it's a decent place to stay and if you don't have a dog would totally recommend it. If you are traveling with your dogs I probably wouldn't stay here or plan on taking your dogs somewhere else to use potty."

"I like the new renovation, I picked this hotel just to find out, normally I do not stay at this brand. the bed was very comfortable better than some Holiday Inn and Hilton, seriously. I like the area being close to the interstate and lots of restaurants nearby, I believe it is only 12 minutes from the casinos, plus boat ramps to access fishing and crabbing if you are into those things. The worst thing was the internet service, I had dial up with faster and more reliable speed, just do not expect internet service if you have to work at the room for any reason. Make sure you bring $100 cash for the deposit or it will take two weeks to get your deposit. Overall, I really enjoy my stay, the staff was very professional and nice all times of day. If they improve the internet service I would stay again, other than that, no."
