The 5th Arrondissement of Paris is an area filled with bars, cafés, grand religious buildings and a museum of natural history.

Find a wide collection of medieval art and artifacts at the National Museum of the Middle Ages. Discover the original heads from the façade of Notre Dame, unearthed during an excavation in the late 20th century. See tapestries, including the medieval Lady and the Unicorn tapestries, considered one of the greatest works of art from the Middle Ages.

Shop for wine, fresh fruit and vegetables at the lower end of Rue Mouffetard. Some of the wine shops offer tastings on the street and are known to sell high-quality wines at low prices.

The 5th Arrondissement is one of Paris’ most central districts. It is located on the east bank of the River Seine and is easily accessible via the city’s Metro and bus systems. The Panthéon is about a 5-minute walk from the Cardinal Lemoine Métro Station.

Clean room - stayed 2 wks. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurants and groceries (convenience store) close by. Buses close by. Loved the area, lots to see and you can take a bus or 2 to get places. Not sure about laundry never needed..brought enough so i don't need to worry about it.
