It offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay, whether you're visiting solo or as a couple. The main room combines a sleeping area and a living space. A high-quality sofa bed offers a cosy double sleeping solution, and you'll also find a flat-screen TV and a table for dining or working. The compact yet functional kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop, microwave, Nespresso machine, and all the necessary tableware with a small window overlooking the inner courtyard, providing natural light. We’ve provided coffee, tea and sugar to help you settle in right away. The bathroom includes a shower, integrated toilet, hair dryer and welcome toiletries (shampoo and shower gel). Everything is designed to meet the needs of short stays in Paris. For added comfort, the studio features high-speed Wi-Fi, an iron, and fresh bed linen and towels for each guest. Please note: Renovation work on the stairwell is underway in the building through June 28, 2026\. Noise disturbances are possible Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. We are, of course, available to assist with any needs you may have and thank you in advance for your understanding. The apartment is entirely yours and accessible 24/7 via a secure self-check-in system. Please note, the studio is located on the first floor and the building does not have an elevator. No private parking is available, but several public car parks are nearby. Self check-in is available at any time via our detailed arrival guide. If you arrive after 11:00 PM, it’s essential to read and follow the guide carefully, as we won’t be able to assist you during the night in case of misunderstanding. The apartment is situated on Rue Saint-Denis, a street with a rich and complex history. Once known for its red-light activity, it still carries some traces of that past. Today, it is mostly recognised for its vibrant atmosphere, cultural diversity, and unbeatable location in the heart of the city. The expectation of unit size in Paris is well known to be small. However, false information in the size of the property (listed as 193.8 sq ft and was actually no larger than 120). This in and of itself is grounds for concern and financial compensation. Let’s move onto the unsafe conditions. Upon arrival it was noted (and I contacted the host) informing them the gate to the dimly lit claustrophobic hallway was not locking as well as the inside handle in the room itself kept falling off. Aside from this, I’m unsure there was a smoke detector, the egress window lead to the pipe system with no exit otherwise available. Lastly, being a larger male myself while sharing the room with another guest (listed as sleeps 2). A rickety frame with a 2 inch mattress for the pullout twin/double fold out couch as the sleeping quarters is just insult to actual injury. I’ll gladly make further negative comments, however, the points I’ve made so far has yet to allow me to garner even one timely response from Expedia, VRBO (each telling me to discuss with the other or contact the “host” myself (which I did to inform them of the unsafe front gate and main door to which I received an untranslatable response I couldn’t understand) Can someone please contact me to discuss this. Mon épouse et moi avions naïvement réservé ce studio pas du tout “cosy et charmant” pour 4 nuits, début juillet 2025\. Nous avons été profondément choqués de ce que nous avons découvert : une pièce minuscule, austère, aveugle et sans air, située entre le premier et le deuxième étage d’un immeuble de passes de la rue Saint-Denis. Quelle n’a pas été notre surprise, en arrivant, de croiser une prostituée et son client dans l’étroit couloir d’entrée de l’immeuble et de voir que chaque porte donnant sur l’escalier portait le nom d’une femme ! Nous pensions que les prostituées avaient disparu de la rue Saint-Denis…Ce studio est équipé d’une toute petite fenêtre qui donne sur un puits sombre, étroit et délabré, sans air, dans lequel passe une descente d’eau qui évacue bruyamment les raucous usérs de l’immeuble.
