"Delightful time for our family—the view of Bear Lake! Tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The slide was a constant source of joy! The Idaho side of Bear Lake and its surroundings are restful and calm. We loved the short drive to the two pools and hot tub, a place everyone delighted in!We loved sitting outside in the evenings and watching the children play during the day (they loved the playground). The barely noticeable fence kept them safe in the beautifully landscaped backyard. The deck was an extension of the home. We were so pleased with the two kitchen tables (and the side station with benches). We dined together comfortably! Two fridges, dishwashers, and washers and dryers were incredibly helpful! With three floors, each family could have a private space. We were so pleased with our stay and would love, love, love to return."
Conestoga Ranch

"We had a great stay at Conestoga Ranch, and the wagons themselves were comfortable. We visited over the busiest weekend of July 4th, and that’s where some things fell short. We asked to move to a wagon closer to the bathrooms since we have small children. The switch didn’t go through, and we were left waiting with all our belongings on the floor while the front desk tried to coordinate it. A little more organization would have made a big difference that weekend. The restaurant food was excellent, but reservations are required and were hard to get, so plan ahead if you want to eat there. Our room’s light fixture was just a bulb hanging from a cord with a plug. It had fallen onto the bed before we arrived, and it took a long time for anyone to fix it, so we ended up repairing it ourselves. A proper fixture would be a worthwhile upgrade. The afternoon heat in the wagons is very uncomfortable, and it’s a good idea to plan for it. The nights get cold, but the heater works very well. Overall, the staff were friendly, the setting is relaxing, and we would be glad to come back. We’d recommend it with a few caveats: book restaurant reservations early, ask for a room near the bathrooms when you check in, and bring a fan for the afternoons."

"Our room was very spacious and clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and gave us good directions for things to do while there in Garden City. The hot tub was also fantastic. Thanks for a fantastic weekend. We will definitely be back."

"Fun place with lots of space. Love the thoughtfulness of supporting lots of travelers in this home with having things like 2 fridges and microwaves, lots of dishes, etc. Definitely would stay here again!"

"This was a perfect property for our family gathering. There were so many beds and the kids loved the extras (NASA bunk, look out, bean bag chairs, game tables, etc). The house was well stocked and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The club house and pool were grate and the private beach was very nice. Check out at 10 was hard with a large group but I get it with needing to turn over and clean for the next group. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay at this property again!"
