Lovely hotel in a great location.

Posted 21-Apr-2017
I travel to Paris fairly often for work and I've not found a hotel I really like so far. The welcome here was warm and friendly, extremely helpful front desk staff and I really felt valued and welcomed. Room was a good size, comfortable bed meant a good night's sleep, location was close to the river and felt safe. Didn't try breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming hotel in excellent location

Loved staying at this charming hotel. Super centrally located. The jardin de Tuleries was right across the street. Place Vendome and Laduree were just around the corner. The hotel staff was super friendly. Overall Great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel in upscale area!

Friendly, helpful staff. Boutique Parisian hotel with lovely rooms, comfortable beds and spacious modern bathrooms. Intimate bar and dining lounge with good food. Cannot go wrong with Mayfair Hotel. One block from Concorde metro and across the street from Tulleries. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Great location

Posted 2-Apr-2017
Pros: We loved the location and the atmosphere of an old boutique hotel
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Louvre, Tuileries, Museum d'Orsey across the river, place of Concord, Champs-Elysees, and the Grand Opera. There are many cites in a walking distance.
It was our first trip to Paris. After reading other reviews we chose this hotel and we were not disapponted. Overall it was a very nice boutique hotel with a very pleasant staff. The best part is the location. There is a metro station close by and it is just 5 minutes away from the Louvre and the Garden of Tuileries. We found many good restaurants in the walking distance. I would definitely stay there again. I gave 4 for facilities and condition because of 2 things: there is only one elevator which is a little slow sometimes and there was no view from the room, it literally looked out to a very tight courtyard, basically 4 walls. However, we only stayed there at night, so that wasn't a big deal. For American tourists, there is no coffee maker, so you have to get out and have your morning coffee at a cafe.

Very nice and kind staffs. It's small hotel but cozy and cute. I was able to enjoy Paris well. Everythings are walking distance to visit museums : louvre museum and d'Orsay museum and seine river. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay in Paris to enjoy Your trip in Paris. I went alone but if a couple would be nice to stay.

Delightful boutique hotel in centre of city

Posted 31-Mar-2017
My wife and I stayed for two nights this week. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we were offered a free upgrade to a junior suite. The room was excellent as we're all other facilities. We will certainly be back!

Near the great museums

The location of this hotel is conveniently within walking distance of the Louvre, the Orsay, Orangerie, and Notre Dame. It is also so close to the Tuileries you can see the garden--which makes a nice morning stroll for breakfast & people watching. It is close to two subway stops. There are nice shops just one street away and the diamond district is a couple of blocks away. We found it a safe and pleasant area to stay. The hotel itself is nice & the staff were polite and helpful. We had a junior suite for my husband, our adult daughter, and me. The rooms were comfortably sized for us.

Excellent location

Overall a great little hotel in an excellent location. Two small annoying things: 1) I find it very annoying and old fashioned to be charged for internet use. 2) I am perfectly happy to tip the porter who bring up the bags without him spending 10 minutes in your room showing you how to open the mini bar and how to find your bathroom!
