Boutique Hotel in the heart of Paris
This was the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Mayfair 3 Rue Rouget de L'Isle Paris. Just off the Rue de Rivoli directly opposite the Garden Tuileries. It was even better this time as we had a large room on the front of the hotel with a balcony! Very desirable in Paris. I would call it a boutique hotel with around 30 rooms. It has a charming dinning room with a bar and sitting room. It is a classic design that oozes french charm, it has two lifts one being around 100 years old very small with wooden hinged doors that hesitate to open, very quaint and very French, love it. Eric the Manager, is the quintessential hotel manager very charming and a joy to talk with. He will ensure you have all the information to make your stay fabulous. From the hotel one can walk to the Tuileries gardens, Place de la Concorde, Madeleine, Place Vendome or the Opera, its so central.
