We stayed in the unit for 8 nights. The owner was very responsive and the apartment has all things we need: cooking, washing, etc. Also close to metro station, bus stops, groceries and good restaurants. One thing stands out is the appartment remains cool during the heat wave because it is at ground floor. Highly recommend this family-friendly property.

I can’t say enough. From the excellent communication, affordable price and comfortable accommodations provided by the host to the absolutely fantastic location. Walk to the old city, two blocks to two different metro stations, and a wonderfully welcoming neighborhood. We had a blast.

Pros: affordable, good location, ground floorCons: It’s someone’s home and his stuff is everywhere. The freezer is full of his food, no room to put anything in it. He puts his food on top shelf of fridge, you have the rest. I understand renting out your home but at least put your stuff in storage. The place was small so it was so packed with his stuff. It was like staying at someone’s grandpas house (personal photos and kids drawings on the walls). Bathroom packed with his toiletries, kitchen packed with his food, etc. Maybe put your food in locking cabinets and other stuff as well. Bed was uncomfortable and sheets/comforter were old and dingy. Place needs a serious upgrade. I’ve stayed in Europe maybe 90 days over the past 5 years and this place was the worst yet
There was no A/C and we were in a heat wave, but other than that it was a wonderful place to stay. With the window open to the interior courtyard and the fan going it was okay.
Our stay overall was very comfortable. we had a few hitches sorting out how the hot water works and how the stove switches on. we never got to sort out the tv workings. All in all a very comfortable and cosy stay in Montmartre.

Cluttered and musky
It was not what I expected. The small apartment is full of oversized furniture for the space. It's the owner's full time home and has his personal possessions everywhere. The bathroom was almost unusable and the portable AC hot air exhaust had to be vented out an open bathroom window. The location isn't bad and communications with the owner was good, but I would not stay in the apartment again.
