Charming Apartment in Latin Quarter Near Luxembourg Gardens

The apartment you dream of discovering is located on the 3rd floor of an 18th century building in the Latin Quarter. The building has been renovated and the staircase has been completely restored. Our Paris home has been renovated completely to our taste and comfort. The corner living room overlooks the Place de la Contrescarpe; its four french windows fill yhe room with light.

The restful master bedroom, complete with its own complete bathroom, has a king-sized bed. The tasteful second bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed, and is adjacent to the second full bathroom. The fully equipped galley kitchen opens to the dining area.The study has a comfortable sofa, large desk and cable T.V. offering all English language news channels

The neighborhood has every amenity; bank, drugstore, bakery, convenience store, restaurants, health club. There are two food and flower markets nearby - on Place Monge open 3 times a week and one at the foot of Rue Mouffetard open every day but at its most colorful on Sunday.

The apartment can be rented by the week or by the month. The apartment manager will greet you at arrival and will show you how everything in the apartment works. The manager does not live on the property, but is available by phone.

Wonderful apartment
This spacious, beautiful historic property was perfect for the three of us (adults). The location is brilliant; right on a town square with too many cafes to count. Within easy walking distance of the Seine, with Metro stations only a couple of minutes away. Highly recommended.

Fabulous 2 BR, 2 bath place very conveniently located in Latin quarter. Lots of room to spread out. Plenty of food options right out to e door. But, it can be a little noisy at night.

Just wonderful, the location is fantastic, apartment had everything we needed. Living in Hemingway's old neighborhood, how can you beat that? Property manager was great. Exceeded my high expectations

The BEST location and warmest homebase to explore Paris!
FANTASTIC property- captured the warmth & charm of a home, blessed w conveniences of a hotel. Pictures do not do justice-soaring ceilings, huge windows, spacious bedrooms, ample closet space & unmatched location on one of the loveliest squares in Paris/stone’s throw from metro. Updated w modern, equipped kitchen, AC in living & sleeping quarters, renovated bathrooms/solid water pressure, & comfy beds. Hair dryers, plug converters, iron, nespresso, washer/dryer & books/games on hand. Charming, comfortable, slightly eclectic; decorations & ambiance shows off the style of its hosts/location- NOT the cold sanitized embrace of inoffensive ikea furniture that many guests seem to now equate with “modern” design, blech! Parents & I stayed for 8 nights, my sister joined us midway. Plenty of space to spread out & relax- even had friends over to visit and bake cookies! Kitchen served us well, aside from missing 1 or 2 bakers measuring tools. Few complaints I saw mention stairs– my father (70) just had knee surgery and was able to navigate no issue. As for noise – we could only hear a pleasant hum in the living room and lovely music that floated in from buskers. We stayed during BASTILLE DAY & were SHOCKED by how serene the bedrooms were amid celebrations. Low lighting – no overhead lighting but that’s Europe baby! We were welcomed w flowers, fresh fruit & assistance with our bags– shoutout to Baltazar, the property manager available during our stay. 11/10 would love to stay again!

A Paris gem
Our stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful and our friends who have never been to Europe fell in love with Paris in part due to the location and numerous activities in and around the courtyard. The apartment is two flights up and if you have many suitcases, you have two trips to work through, once up and once down but two flights up a Paris apartment isn't all that difficult or challenging. It's location is close to many activities, bars, restaurants, grocery stores and most importantly, a couple wine shops with one we frequently visited, Gargantua. As with other Paris apartments, the metro was quite close and its within walking distance to many nearby attractions. We've stayed in many Paris apartments over the years and this was a gem and it worked out perfectly for us and our friends. Merci Beaucoup!!!!

Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this apartment represents authentic Paris living! The apartment overlooks a plaza and dozens of restaurants are within a short walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay in the Latin Quarter
The apartment is on the third floor in a building very close to restaurants, bakeries and a circular green. The decor of the apartment is rustic with old beams accompanied by lovely French windows that open to a view of the green. Another welcome feature was the washer and dryer in the apartment. We were welcomed with fresh flowers.
