Definitely not what I was expecting. Loud nighttime parties, lots of screaming kids running around, and most of the amenities were well worn. This is a resort where parents go to party while kids run amuck despite ‘quiet’ hours. The cabins are in terrible condition, the shower barely worked and about half the lights were burnt out. The good is the staff- very friendly and helpful. It’s unfortunate the property is so run down. The pool, mini golf, fire pits all sounded like fun. We only stayed one night and left asap in the morning.

The property is great. We enjoyed the hot tub and how close the hotel is to Cedar Breaks. The only issue we had was the dinner we ate there. We waited a long time for our food, and when it arrived at the table the vegetables were cold, the chicken was barely warm, and the sauce was extra bland. This was extra disappointing, especially since it cost 25 bucks :-/

Cabin 140 faces an open pasture and with it the opportunity to see buffalo. When I arrived neither fireplace worked. Their handyman fixed one. The living room TV Roku doesn’t respond. The unit was advertised as having an outdoor spa, which wasn’t true. It had two interior air fed bathtubs. An outdoor spa was a big selling feature to me. It’s a 30 minute haul to the South Park entrance. Next time I will stay in Springdale but I will miss the wildlife. The ladies at reception were very nice.

The outside property is so beautiful. Rochelle keeps the grounds so quaint and gorgeous. Inside is so nostalgic and brings you back to simpler times. We only stayed 1 night. Hot water and great water pressure for a wonderful shower after a long hike. We had a terrace outside our room which the sun rises. Comfortable bed. Delicious fresh breakfast. You can't beat the price. This place is truly a gem. I definitely recommend. But book quickly or you'll miss out.
