POOL with a LAZY RIVER!! SLIDE & SWIM UP BAR. THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS ID#: 1812: PLEASE NOTE: This is a private home in a residential neighborhood and is not available for events or weddings. AS PER PALM SPRINGS LAW, OUTDOOR MUSIC IS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT! The property can accommodate 14 guests (a maximum of 12 Adults and 2 children 12 years and under). It is GREAT for families with children, family reunions and for couples get-togethers. Outdoor fireplaces, spa in a cave and a swim up bar make it perfect for getting together and enjoying friends and family. This beautiful 6,800 square foot estate has 6 fireplaces on the property. The pool has an island in the middle, with a BBQ kitchen (sink, mini-fridge and BBQ), fireplace, patio table that seats 8, hammock and sandy beach. The island is accessed by crossing the bridge from the mainland over the river. The spa is in a cave and has a slide from the top into the deepest part of the pool. The river circles the island. Pool is heated to 84 degrees on arrival; NO pool heat on morning of departure, but you can use the spa. Jets can be turned on to create a current in the river. USE OF THE WATER FEATURES; i.e. MOVING RIVER, SLIDE and WATERFALLS ARE AN OPTIONAL FEATURE. There is a $500 deposit due on arrival via Venmo or Zelle. Usage is calculated by taking meter readings before and after your stay; usage is billed at $3.90 per kw hr used. Any unused deposit is refunded by Lessor following departure. It costs apx $40/hr for use of the moving river; apx $10/hr for the slide or waterfalls. You can use these features as little or as much as you wish. The main house has 4 bedrooms and can sleep 8\. There are two Casitas. The South Casita has a King bedroom, an apartment size kitchen and full bath with shower. The North Casita has a Queen bedroom; it also has a Full/Twin Bunk bedroom that can be used by 2 children 12 and under, a shared bath with tub/shower combo, apartment size kitchen and its own living room with a pullout Queen bed. Carol, our host met with me at property.She became frustrated with me when explaining how to turn on lazy river. This set the tone on how approachable she was when we had other concerns on the property. Queen casita was dirty/sticky floors. Several TVs on property did not turn on. Although there were more than one jacuzzis, not all of them worked (3of them). Game room had some non-working games. One game needed quarters to be used. Bikes on property all flat. This was for a family gathering. Séjour de 3 nuits en décembre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Susan and Errol s. 14 déc. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Our family group was 8 adults and 4 grandchildren (ages 10-14) - 3 generations. Every single person thought this was a marvelous vacation. We came over Thanksgiving week and the weather was lovely, mostly around 70 during the days and cool for sleeping at night. Every child who wanted their own room could have one. The house was beyond perfect for us and, as others have said, the photos do not do it justice. The centerpiece is the lazy river, a circular pool with an "island" in the middle reached over a bridge and containing a table for 8-10, the BBQ and a hammock. The pool could be heated to a very comfortable temperature and has a motor that creates enough force to send a person in an inner tube gently around the "river." The children enjoyed the water slide and we all used the large hot tub area adjoining the river. Our host, Carol, was enormously helpful, especially in finding the perfect market (Jensens, 5 minutes away) to get our oven-ready Thanksgiving turkey and many of the trimmings. The kitchen was well-equipped and all appliances worked well. We enjoyed day trips to Joshua Tree National Park where all 4 kids did a morning lesson of serious rock climbing, and to the Tramway with breathtaking views of rock formations up to 4000 ft (I think) where there was lots of snow. This is a property was great for our group of active young water enthusiasts. I spent the weekend here with a group of 10, and we really enjoyed ourselves. It's in a great location, less than a mile from downtown Palm Springs, in a clean, quiet neighborhood. The house itself is clean, welcoming, and huge, with plenty of space for a big group. The kitchen is well provisioned, so cooking & serving is easy. We took advantage of the great pool, the barbeque island, and even the lazy river and slide! There are plenty of rafts, towels and shade if you're like us and intend to spend your whole time outside. It was very comfortable outside, even at 110+ degrees. We certainly would have loved to have some music, but it's Palm Springs, so that's a no-no. The only critique I can think of is a minor one. There are a lot of steps/stairs around the pool, so if you've got any mobility issues, some areas (the island & the outdoor bar come to mind) might not be accessible. The owner, Carol, was very friendly and easy to work with. She communicated well, setting expectations, and answering questions quickly.
