« Beautiful and cozy spot on the river. We loved or family meals, games, coffee and birdwatching on the screened in deck. The bald eagle sightings were a special treat! »

The property could use a good deep clean-Dust bunnies under the beds, walls were dirty, and 2 of the 3 beds had questionable spots on the sheets which made us concerned if they were actually laundered. The house was cute and perfect for what we were needing. Host was responsive to messages. »

« We enjoyed the quiet, laidback feel while staying at the Raven's Roost. It was easy access to food and other interests and about 20 minutes to the Shenandoah N.P. at Thornton Gap entrance. The hosts, who live on the property, were friendly and accomodating. We appreciated the pet friendly accommodations. Ed and Betsy were thoughtful in leaving 1/2 dozen fresh eggs and tasty, homemade bread on our arrival. »
