Stunning sunsets, views from the cottage of pastures with a sweet horse that loves treats, on our historic Virginia farm. Our cottage, located in a private setting, with an outside hot tub with beach towels and a Solo stove for easy warm evening fires. The Cottage has a king size bed, fresh linens and towels, fully furnished kitchen, beautiful bath with a jetted tub, free WIFI, & central air and heating. History abounds with a Civil War incident occurring right here at the farm ask Betsy or Ed we are happy to share. To get you started we supply half a dozen eggs from our chickens and a baked treat for your coffee. There is coffee in the cottage too. If you would like eggs to take home they are $2.00 per dozen. We are Dog Friendly there is a $20.00 per pet per night fee, and they MUST be crated if you go out without them. We forgot to ask/mention it to the owners but the VRBO lists laundry as an amenity and it was not included in the cabin. It’s close enough to attractions and shops/restaurants/breweries if you want to explore. It is also nestled just outside (2 min drive) of all of this to allow for a beautiful secluded stay. The cottage was clean and cozy, and being able to use the hot tub was amazing. Ed and Betsy and all the animals were welcoming. The cottage was especially beautiful during sunrise. Cute, clean, comfy, and reliable central air. Hot tub was lovely, and had shelter above it which was great since it was raining. The tin roof on the cottage was cool to hear during the rainstorm.
