We had a stange start to our visit which was resolved with the help of several people and the owner made up for the early challenges in spades. « A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. « The homeowners were very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was extremely clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It is neat to see all the family history in this cottage with pictures and decorations. Our trip was in early April, so the weather was a bit unpredictable, but we found plenty to do in the area during the rain. Lots of games to play in the cottage as well, which we did. « Thank you for letting our family stay at this magical place. We were a bit worried at first an our young kids and the lack of WiFi and cell service, but it ended up being a blessing. « Our 4th stay. I appreciate the clean environment that has amenities we need to cook a couple meals, make coffee, watch some movies at night but most of all relax and take in views of the lake. Plenty of seating inside and out and the big eating table was great. My wife and I took my older parents and we appreciate everything on one level and beds easy to get into. »
