"The first room i had the air didnt work in there. The lady at the desk switch my room for another. It was just an older hotel and it look like some of the guest lived ther grilling by the pool"

"A great lakefront property for a small family. We stayed here with our 2 boys in aug 2026. Communication with owner was great. It was a great value for being on the lake and having a dock to swim or fish off of. The dogs were friendly next door and my boys enjoyed that they came to say hi. The small cottage is simple but had everything we needed. Toliet paper , paper towels all provided which was great. There was a slightly musty smell in the back of the house but I preferred to unplug the air fresheners as I react to them. I would suggest bringing your own pillows for comfort. Since this property is wooded I would also bring bug spray and any ointment if you get bit. Overall we had a great stay and we love coming to lake egypt every year. Thanks for opening up your property to us!"
Waterfront cabin on the beautiful Lake of Egypt!

"Very spacious house and perfect cove for anyone that doesn’t want to be on the main channel. House had a kayak and lily pad which was fun for the kids, and the water in that area is shallow, which is good if you have little ones. House had everything we needed including a grill, baking dishes, etc."
