Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.

Very clean hotel with interesting art decor. Close to the heritage sites and colleges. Very good coffee and dinner offerings. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.

Loved our stay. Highly recommend this place. The bunk room was super fun and surprisingly comfortable for 4 adults. Staff were so welcoming and provided super helpful tips on traveling into Oxford. And the food at the restaurant was great. We would definitely stay again.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room clean and bed comfortable. Only complaint was the AC wasnt consistent. Would be down for hours, but staff worked to get it going when that would happen. Would stay here again thank you!

Beautifully maintained older home. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was situated between Summertown and the city centre, and about 15 minutes walk to both. We arrived after 6:00 but instructions were sent for easy entry. The room was unlocked and keys left on the bed, with necessary information. It was too cold to eat breakfast outside but garden looked lovely for warmer weather. Would be happy to stay here again.

We booked the Allium room. I can honestly say it’s the most beautifully decorated, comfortable bright room we have ever stayed in. Soaker tub in huge bathroom wonderful. Courtney and other staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast full English included. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

It is in a lovely setting and all credit to the owners and their staff for making the stay a wonderful experience. Everyone was extremely friendly and highly efficient.

Excellent place. Extremely cool design incorporating the old prison and adjacent to the fortress remains. Room was exceptionally nice and breakfast was delicious. Would recommend.

Room was spotless and well appointed. The staff to the person were gracious and helpful. The gym was very clean and well appointed Ample parking Hotel is beautifully situated along a bulge in the river.

Amazing room, great decor with nice pictures and books. Very comfortable bed, great bathroom. Very good food at the restaurant, generous breakfast included. Went back for Sunday roast and it was very good. Staff very nice and helpful. Would recommend to all my friends
