Oxford Vacation Packages

My husband & I were in Birmingham for a concert. We enjoyed our stay at The Painted Lady! We enjoyed the historic building, beautiful bedroom & huge bathroom!

We had issues in our room with the toilet not functioning. It was supposed to repaired while we were out during the day came home to the existing problem with wet towels on the floor that had not been cleaned up. Called the front desk was told there were no rooms for us to move to and sent up maintenance. Maintenance left assuring us the problem was fixed but indeed it was not. Our toilets would not flush and randomly flushed itself throughout the evening. Both my sister and I use the lobby bathroom throughout the evening. I spoke with the front desk and although I booked this through Expedia I am a Hilton member They assured me that there were rooms available and we should have been moved but we're not. They also told me they would add points to my Hilton account since they could not refund any money as I booked through Expedia. As of today none of that has happened. Very disappointed in this property and how they handled our issue. Would not book again.

The hotel was fantastic all round, but I really dont have enough good things to say about the staff, especially Dakitia who went out of her way to accommodate me. She exemplifies southern hospitality, thank you again, Dakitia!

Clean room, location and staff was very friendly

Hotel going through renovations, rooms look amazing, A/c heating can be loud when it turns on. The rest of the facilities should be ready soon.
