"We had a beach facing tower room which was massive, huge panoramic window to the sea front. Massive bathroom with corner whirlpool bath. The breakfast was excellent, we were little late getting down but all the food was fresh and appetizing esp the Lincolnshire sausages. Being on the seafront parking is an issue and we used the Lanes car park which whilst only minutes from the hotel door was very expensive and should be factored into your calculations. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"This is our second stay at The Grand. It is a beautiful hotel - a little shabby in places. Surprised to find that in a huge hotel like this that both lifts were out of order and only one small service lift for all huests plus service requirements. Breakfast is a fantastic offering although sorry to see that since our last visit you now need to use drink machines yourself. It is ok paying £20 for a fabulous buffet but it is nice to be served tea and coffee. Difficult to carry both breakfast and do drinks at the same time so involves an extra trip up to buffet. Will definitely be back."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were excellent, all around. The room was spacious (we had one with king bed and balcony) and bed comfortable. The balcony was big, and the only "bad thing" was that it needed newer furniture."
