The host was unfriendly and targeting. After receiving paid confirmation, the host called and inquired on the reason for stay and adamantly referred to the community as “protected” with closely monitored noise ordinances. Mind you, the apartment is directly across for the stadium. The area is riddled with the homeless population. Another conversation centered around “no parties” allowed and strict guest limits. At no time did we discuss or suggest we were having a get together and our reservation was a party of 2 with a 6 party posted limit. We had to contact customer service because the host encouraged us to cancel via the app due not being a “good fit” for this protected community. I would be mindful of hosts who charge outrageous security deposits for short stays. I would not recommend this property. There are other great places nearby and more friendly who offer more amenities.

The room was wonderful for our stay. We really enjoyed the front sitting area. The hotel was clean and the property was convenient to downtown stadiums and waterfront. Just a 10 minute walk and you are there. Parking in the garage next door was very convenient and a lot cheaper than down by the stadiums. We will stay here again!!

Normally I am not one to complain but we stay at Hyatts all the time and this one was a shocking surprise. The lobby is currently being renovated which is its own thing. But everything was kind of dirty. And then you get to the room and it’s questionable at best. The shower drain wouldn’t drain, you can’t close the bathroom door without standing inside the shower, the door wouldn’t close to the bathroom, tv didn’t work, furniture was all worn and broken. Seems like they know they need to update things but it is definitely in a state of disrepair and not at all to the standard of the Hyatt that we are used to.
