"Stayed for one night while in town to see The Lost Colony. The property is a vintage motor lodge. So the rooms show some wear and tear but the room was clean. The AC worked amazingly (which was a plus for me). The room I had was a small room but as a single traveler they may have put me in a smaller room."

"This was a pleasant hotel close to my relatives renting and Kitty Hawk. The rate was very reasonable compared to many places in the area and the staff was super nice. The room was comfortable and clean"

"The property was good; the staff helpful and friendly. The stairs were rather inconvenient for carrying a suitcase. The only way to get to my room was several flights of stairs. The keypad on the door was a little clunky, but the room key worked fine. Glad we stayed here for our girls trip, but not sure I'd choose to stay here again. For the price, I expected a bit more, but it was still very nice. Parking spaces hard to come by, but we managed a spot every time."

"My wife and I took a week without kids for the first time in more than 20 years. This place was perfect!! We honestly couldn't get enough of the water views. The bed was so comfortable it was tough to get going in the morning. Mary was super responsive to everything. Highly recommend to any couples looking to spend an amazing time together."

"Perfect location for our trip to OBX! About a 10 minute drive to Nags Head / Jennette’s Pier. But Manteo is a gem itself. The cottage is spacious and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Katy is an attentive and communicative host with helpful recommendations. Would definitely stay here again."
