"We’ve stay here a couple times in the past and have never been let down. The entire staff is so helpful. There were staff member performing clean task constantly throughout the day. Beach is right out the door….or enjoy the pool! This hotel is smaller than those “chain stays” which is nice. They pay attention to detail. Awesome breakfast to start your day…..afternoon wine social if that’s your thing….and cookies to end your day.

"We loved our stay at the Blue Heron Motel. Right on the beach, close to everything that you would need. It is not a new, fancy hotel (which is what we wanted). It was clean and larger than expected. The only thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the window in case guests wanted to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

"The cabin was a perfect place to go to sleep after staying out all day on the beach. Close to Fat Boys for ice cream and some of our favorite restaurants. Although advertised as “soundproof walls” our experience was otherwise, could definitely hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. No complaints, would stay there again with my wife on another long weekend on the Outer Banks!!"
