"Convenient place to stay. Restaurant had great food, although the service was lacking. Seemed there were a lot of wait staff in training and/or short staffed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Don't forget to purchase your shuttle ticket for your trip back to the airport! "

5/5 Excellent
"Saint George’s Hotel was the perfect spot as a solo traveler. Arriving via tram from the central train station was incredibly easy and quick. (It’s really walkable too if you don’t have heavy luggage.) I felt safe in the area at all hours, and most welcome by the staff upon checking in. Having the option of breakfast was so helpful given my busy schedule on some days. I especially love that there are so many restaurants mere steps from the hotel, plus many more conveniences within a few minutes walk (including Starbucks! - Yes I’m a basic American traveler in that way.). The access to trams and subways nearby make this location perfect for whatever you might have planned in Zurich. Saint George’s was a great choice. The only challenge was a lot of construction noise nearby. However, I walked through much of the city and there seemed to be construction in every neighborhood so I’m not sure that could be avoided."

"The property is expensive, but in many ways worth it. Always a taxi available. Taxi to airport approx $60 (US currency) each way or you can make your way to the train station (10 min walk). The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Marco greeted us and gave us an excellent introduction to the hotel and facilities. Valentina, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were both amazing people and made us feel very welcome. Everyone spoke English, among other languages, and was polite. The bar prices were reasonable. The staff there were very friendly. Bad things: The food is very poor in quantity and quality, especially for the prices charged. I am not saying this as an "American who expects large portions". We paid $14 each for 2 soups (one mushroom, one wonton). Both were about 3/4 cup. The mushroom was completely creamed, like Campbells worthy and the wonton was poor watery chicken broth with odd meat filled breadsticks that apparently were the wontons (this is not a dumpling). We also got a chicken Ceasar salad for $28 which is essentially 1 grilled chicken breast and 4 small leaves of lettuce under it. For desert we said well let's get the NY Cheesecake. I don't know what that was, but cheesecake it was not. More like custard pie. We couldn't finish it. Even though everything in Zurich is very expensive, it would be nice to know the hotel was a good option, but it is definitely not. Our total bill for the meal was about $80 US. "
