"100% recommend and would stay again. Room was lovely and comfortable. Mini kitchen with all cooking necessities, which was great. Even has charcoal grills in the common area along with picnic benches and comfortable seating. Owner/ hosts set up a bonfire each night for guests and provided get was t conversation and fellowship. Anyone looking for a great and convent place to stay, don’t wait any longer and book your cottage NOW!! We will definitely be back. Thank you again to Jeff and Nou for their hospitality. "

"We had a fantastic stay at this cozy Ontonagon house. It was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable — exactly what we were hoping for after long days of hiking, beachcombing, and exploring the Porcupine Mountains. We got lucky with a stretch of warm weather and ended up swimming in Lake Superior nearly every day. Our kids and dog loved the beach just two blocks away — peaceful, uncrowded, and absolutely beautiful. Even got some fishing inWe’re a big group — two parents, four kids (17, 14, 10, and 8), and our dog — and everyone was extremely comfortable. There was even an extra bed we didn’t end up using, which was a nice bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and we loved relaxing in the living room after sunset.Lake of the Clouds is only about 30 minutes away, and right around the corner from the house is a great coffee shop, a gas station that has just about anything you might’ve forgotten (though the house is already stocked with so much), and an ice cream shop we visited more than once.Bill and Julie are incredible hosts — responsive within moments to any question or concern, and if they didn’t have an answer, they found someone who did. They even went above and beyond by finding bikes for our kids to ride around for the week, at no extra charge. Basically anything you need for the kitchen, laundry, beach, or your furry friend is already in the house. We’d absolutely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Oar-asis! The location was ideal for us, with doing activities in the Porkies and in Ontonagon, and we were surprised by how many amenities were available! The hosts thought of everything that is needed for a great stay, plus the complimentary coffee, breads and cookies were delicious! One of the better VRBOs we stayed at with a very nicely stocked kitchen, charcoal for the grill, etc. The hummingbirds at the feeder were a delight to watch, and we even saw a deer wander along the yard perimeter to enjoy the apple trees one of the evenings! "I can’t say enough about this property! Spotless camper, with plenty of room. The property is definitely private and SO relaxing! The camper itself is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the owners thought of everything! Keith made the check in and check out process so easy, and he was very communicative throughout our stay. Our dog loved just hanging out in the yard with plenty of room to run around. We had such a great time and we would definitely stay here again! "

"We enjoyed being able to stay closer to town and go to more of the local shops and restaurants. Close to the beach and the neighborhood is nice and quiet! Didn't use the kitchen but its gorgeous! Enjoyed the shower downstairs for days after the beach. "
