Rooms decorated like little cabins with a theme to each room. One of our rooms was the Bear room and the other was the Fishing room. The hotel is next to a “marsh” area so birds are chirping in the am and tree frogs at night. Although the motel is next to the main road, there is not much traffic. Beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended this property for those who want an experience different than the typical motel. At check in you are greeted by the owners, who do it all! Very friendly, welcoming and informative. Rooms are very simple, cabin like feel. Great access to the beach. And the best part of our stay was the nightly fire. Grear time just relaxing and chatting! Will definitely return on our next adventures to the UP!

Owners obviously took great pride and had fun decorating the room with appropriate decor for the area. Bed was comfortable and some nice dining options were available a few miles away.
