"We had an incredible stay at The Courier Hotel—one we’ll never forget. When we arrived for check-in, we were greeted with the exciting news that it was the hotel’s grand opening day, and we were among the very first guests. Even more special, we were the first people to stay in our room. Everything was absolutely immaculate. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, and you could still catch that fresh, new-hotel scent in the air. It truly felt like a one-of-a-kind experience. What stood out just as much as the pristine condition of the hotel was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel valued from the moment we walked in. The location is another huge plus—perfectly situated within just a few minutes’ walk to all the main attractions in Salem, making it easy to explore without needing a car. All in all, an amazing experience from start to finish. We feel lucky to have been part of the hotel’s opening day and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Clean room, breakfast was made to order and don’t miss out on the New England coffee Witch’s Mix blend! With available parking at the hotel we walked to the museums, restaurants and other attractions as Salem is very walkable. Great long weekend destination."

"Swing chairs on the patio were fun, but the place was understaffed. The check in hours were not clearly communicated, and we were own with minimal cell signal and no wifi to get the remote check in going. The bathroom ceiling was peeling so much our kids wouldn't take a bath. The fixtures all looked new and modern, but the shower head was not something I'd ever select- possibly the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in a warm shower. The room was spacious, but beds uncomfortable. Coffee in room was terrible, but the tea was great. Full of highs and lows. With a different check in experience, the overall rating would have been a 3, but I wouldn't recommend or go back. The highs weren't worth the lows."
