"I booked this through VRBO and ended up with a full hour of a check-in disaster where the property and VRBO had some sort of miscommunication from what I gathered (couldn’t get a clear explanation of what exactly went wrong). My family and I did not end up in the room that was advertised and what I paid for through VRBO. It was 10:30pm after 3 hours of driving with two young kids and a dog, we moved into two rooms before finding one that contained the amount of bed space we needed. The property...

Birch Glen Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room needs upgrading. Full size bed on a queen frame, desk/dresser needs replacing. Drawers weren't working well and the countertop looks like someone sat on it. No chair to sit on and the chair that was outside the door was broken. When the shower was used by the person in next room, pipes made a bad noise. But I did hear they were in the process of remodeling units. Otherwise it was close to town and the lake."

Stunning Cabin with Clubhouse on River! Wooded Retreat with Kayaks! Pickleball!

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful and large home. We had everything we needed and more. Saw elk walking down the river and the kids even used the kayaks in October. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks, the Shorts"

Lucky Cabin

8/10 Good

""Lucky Cabin" is nice. On arrival I found it clean and ready for me - but...I found a few things likely left behind by prior visitors that I just said, "Uhhh, no." and left it where I found it. The only major improvement I would appreciate is local TV options (cable or antenna if either is an option in the neighborhood), better cell coverage (zero to two bars and probably not something the owner can readily improve), and Internet coverage (there is none). Cell service with my provider was very spotty (hint: Go to the kitchen! LOL). I only had to make one phone call, but it was spotty and eventually just dropped out altogether. There is a good selection of DVD videos in the cabin, but I found a few cases empty (no disk) and the ones I did happen to choose to try were fingerprinted and scratched, resulting in poor performance.Note that with all that said, yes, I would absolutely stay there again."

Cozy home with HOT TUB, River View & Fire Pit!

10/10 Excellent

"Great! Great! Great! The location is perfect! Short drive to Crouch and convenient location to other places. The hosts are amazing. We heard Elk and watched the Elk walk through the river. The views are amaxing. If we are ever in the area again, we will be staying here. Recommend 10/10!"

Private Hot Spring, Perfect for Couples, No Shared Spaces, 1 Hour North of Boise

10/10 Excellent

"If you would like to experience Heaven on earth then this is the place you need to be. We have already talked about returning next year and possibly an annual trip until we are too old to drive. lol We were totally able to relax and renew and Jamie and Dan are perfect hosts. At our initial arrival Dan showed us around and let us know of all the amenities and there are many. Private geothermal pool and another in the fairy walkabout garden. Different areas to sit and take in the scenery and the fire pit was well used by us each evening. The stars at night… I never imagined so many and the Milky Way was overhead at the time. Beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend that this place should be on your bucket list!"
