Perfect little house for our needs. Husband wanted to be at the lake a lot and it is literally minutes away quiet neighborhood and the host was very accessible and friendly. We plan to stay there again.

Great Property

The house was so clean and perfect for our stay with our two little pups. The location was in the area for the places on our list of "must see" events. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We would stay here again.

Thanksgiving Stay

Great location with easy access to 35 Or Hefner Parkway. Lots a places to eat, grab coffee, and shop - all within walking distance. Very quiet area. The home was very comfy, mid-century home. Perfect for our two night stay. I would stay again, so much better than a cramp hotel.

Great stay

First rattle out the box I really enjoyed the place. Location was great lots to do around the neighborhood, grocery store was a stones throw from the front porch. Inside the house, the rooms were plenty spacious, beds were comfy, and living area was perfect for lounging. The kitchen was fully stocked and though it was only a single bathroom, the hot water didn’t have a problem keeping up with the multiple showers. Like my little nephew would say, ten out of ten.

The property was perfect for what we needed. All of the amenities are there for your cooking needs. I would say if a senior couples stay there the television is a little difficult because you can only stream we are in our 70s so we weren’t real familiar with that overall it was a great day though.

Nice little home near everything

It had everything you would need for a nice trip to Oklahoma. The host was fantastic and there for everything we needed quick. It could use a little update and renovation but that is being pickey. It was perfect for us. I suggest everyone give it a chance if you are in town!

Home away from home

We booked this place for Thanksgiving and it was perfect. It is clean, tidy, and exactly as advertised. The open floor plan and 3 bedrooms made this a comfortable place for my husband, teenager and elderly father. The kitchen is nice and had everything we needed, there were also a great selection of spices and oils for cooking. The neighborhood is quiet and close to many things and the highway. My niece lives in the Village and we will definitely book this place again. When we visit.

The Village

Very cute house. Only major complaint is there was no hot water in kitchen and only luke warm water to bathe in. Train horns blow constantly. But, truly enjoyed all the antique stores.

Maybe a getaway, maybe not an extended stay

My stay was from September 25th, 2024 to October 25th, 2024. I originally booked this through VRBO through October 30th. I was to stay at this property temporarily for work as an Instructor on the Southside of town. I found myself needing to extend and reserve the property until November 6th. It was a nightmare trying to change the reservation. It took hours of phone conversations with VRBO and the owner. I was finally able to get it changed a month or so before the rental period started. And after all that, I had to check out early (10/26/24) due to family issues. The owner said nothing could be done about a refund on the days not used. VRBO’s are definitely not as flexible as hotels. Once at the property the response time from the host was very good. Even though the response time was good, below are some items I feel I should mention. —the property is located within approx. .85 of a mile to freight train railroad tracks. These trains run all hours of the day and night. —the tv in the living area has limited channels and is not a smart tv so will be unable to screen mirror from your own device. You may have to watch something like a big sporting event from your own device. —the washer and dryer had issues. Limited to 1500 characters so I can’t elaborate. —it was very hard to get a receipt for what I paid for to use for my per diem. Again, the owner was responsive. However, in the end the experience could have better and much more flexible.

Fantastic Long Stay

The neighborhood is older but very safe. My dogs loved the backyard. The property manager was on the spot with few questions that I had. It was like home sweet home.

Love the backyard

We had a long six week stay here while looking for homes in OKC and the property met most of our needs at a affordable price. It’s a older home that hasn’t been updated but it’s clean and the host has stocked every amenity you can think of. The only issue we had was the dampness and musty odor. This house needs a dehumidifier. And the bedrooms can use some really good mattresses. IMHO, a good nights sleep is crucial. The house is small but the covered patio makes it feel more spacious. Our dog loved the large backyard. It’s in a great convenient neighborhood that butts up to beautiful Nichols Hills. It made my morning walks very pleasant! The host is responsive and easy to deal with. Despite its flaws I would recommend this property.

Everything we could expect. . .

House is cozy, nicely decorated and very well-kept. We really like the location. You can't beat sitting on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds in the backyard! We came for the NCAA Women's College World Series, and found the drive to the stadium to be quick and easy. We biked around Hefner Lake, used the YMCA, and appreciated the variety of stores and restaurants.
